Feb. 16 (Bloomberg) — David Crowe, chief economist at the National Association of Homebuilders, talks with Bloombergs Lori Rothman about the impact of an extended homebuyer tax credit on U.S. builders.
According to the NAHB/Wells Fargo index, confidence among U.S. homebuilders rose in February to a three-month high, a sign that the housing market is stabilizing amid government support. Crowe, speaking from Washington, also discusses competition for new home sales from foreclosed properties and the scarcity of credit for builders. (Source: Bloomberg)

He was a school Teacher at St.Baithins school in the Carrigans/St.Johnston area (East Donegal) for most of his life. Seán passed away at the age of 90 in August 1996 and is buried on Cruit Island.
Seán only wrote the lyrics, the actual air itself is maybe 150 or more years old, there are many songs around using the same melody, but to my ears the closest one is a song called “The Faughan Side”, This song was part of the Curriculum in national schools in East Donegal and as Seán was a Teacher in the “Laggan Valley” (South Inishowen) I’m pretty sure that is were he got his inspiration for the “Homes of Donegal”.

Great news! Switchfoot has been chosen to record a song for the official Prince Caspian movie soundtrack!
Greetings amigos!
When my brother and I were kids, my dad used to read us CS Lewis books before we went to sleep. So when we were asked to be involved in a movie based on his book, “The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian” – we were honored to be considered.
I wanted to capture the longing that is embedded in much of Lewis’ writing- so I tried to think back to what these stories meant to me when I was six years old and write from that perspective. The song that came out is called “This is Home.” It’s been quite a journey: a San Diego song with strings cut at Abbey Road in London complete with a video shot in Hollywood.
We are so excited to not only share this song with you, but you can hear the song streaming on our website, myspace, and facebook. The song will also be featured on the soundtrack, which is being released through Hollywood Records on Tuesday May 13th in stores everywhere.
This is our first venture as an independent band- so thank you for being a part of this! And thanks again for all your continued support.
