Should we look to buy in Southern California towards the end of the year? Will we get a better deal from the builders? Looking to buy in the Inland Empire of So. Cal.
You probably will get a better deal the longer you wait but not because it’s the end of the year. It’ll be because the market is continuing to go down and builders have to sell. A few builders use christmas and year-end as an excuse but it different for each builder. If you find something you like, why don’t you just tell the salesperson you want to make an offer? Be sure you don’t have a realtor representing you, that’s worth about 3% right off the bat.
