    it would be a small mortgage and would be paid off within 5-7 years instead of paying electrical bills for the rest of your life. which would be much more then the entire electrical panels and wind turbines.

    those solar panels and wind turbines arent cheap either…they would take a long time to pay for themselves so i dont know how much in bills they would be saving….

    I like this one. Very interesting but i just saw the one for hong kong and all i can say is wow. An amazing use of space with a sliding wall system that creates up to 24 different room combinations.

    how much energy/money did it take to build all those panels? Green doesn’t have to equate to high-tech/expensive. how about making smaller homes and using natural/local material. slap on some heavy insulations combined with passive heating and cooling then i’ll call you green.
