You are setting yourself to be scammed and there is an easy way to find a good house for the money without being scammed.

Contact any good local real estate agent. They all (or almost all) have a website that will let you search the entire MLS. That MLS includes all homes that have been foreclosed on. You can also compare houses that have not been foreclosed on and see which properties seem to best fit your needs (after all you just want to get the best house for your money- and you are assuming that would be a foreclosure- but if it wasn't a foreclosure that would be OK with you, right?)

You will not have to join anything or pay any fee. Some agents may require your email address but others will not. Find an agent that you want to work with- and walk thru several houses before you make your decision.
References :
www.homesdatabase.com offers all home listings, but does include foreclosures. Be careful, because foreclosures can come with liens and many times are sold "as-is," which means there could be structural issues that you are not aware of.
References :
www.homesdatabase.com
