    This is the first …
    This is the first solar powered house that has impressed me. The only issue is the cost.

    This is fantastic, …
    This is fantastic, nice work! It looks expensive. How much does “a mile of thick-wall copper tube buried in the front yard” cost? I hope you never have an accident with those 10,000 gallons of hydrogen. ^^

    He was just trying …
    He was just trying to prove a point, don’t be an idiot. If you told people you ran in your entire house on Solar Power wouldn’t you want to SHOW THEM? A majority of Americans are not using Solar ANYTHING so encourage interest you show people things.

    The announcement of …
    The announcement of Bloom Boxes going public solves the Fuel Cell problem, Mike had to get a commercial unit which cost a ton (he got discounts on it)

    @toez100 The total …
    @toez100 The total energy spread out by the sun in 1 hour is more than the whole world is consuming in 1 year. He just has found a way to catch this energy. Global warming (if it exists) would be gone instantly if everyone would do it like this, no matter how big there televisions would be. All cars, trucks whatever could run on electricity all factories could run on electricity all power companies could deliver sun powered electricity.

    Although he …
    Although he consumes more than YOU want, he wastes very little . . . anyone is silly to complain. GOOD for you Michael !

    Mike, Nice little system. Recently I posted a video of my Grid-Tied home wind/solar hybrid project, go have a look if you are interested in home solar energy. See my install of rooftop wind turbines and solar panels at my house. If you want to favorite my videos or Subscribe to my channel it would be great. Thanks

    You’re still an …
    You’re still an energy waster, Michael. Shame on you. The Sun is going to give you a sunburn when you least suspect it, because it KNOWS what you’re doing. The sun knows how you should produce your energy. And it’s by mimicking it’s process. The only successful process of nuclear fusion is with a SKYBOLT reactor from SINGTECH.

    did anybody else notice all those lights in the background?Big screen television and a hot tub to boot. He doesn’t seem to care about the actual amount of energy he is consuming but rather knowing that he’s got all the latest green gear. Certainly an improvement on the oil hungry Ammerican way of life but still loads of consumption

    …..Now to answer your questions,

    - it is not a matter of cost, it is a matter of need some day for some generation. But cost is a work in progress, and becomes cheaper every year.

    - new houses can be build with a system like this. The point is that governments can make a start and a difference if they are willing enough.

    google Mike Reynolds, he proves the same thing.

    Greets, and a happy new year :-0)) iT

    @insAneTunA

    and …
    @insAneTunA

    and has become more efficient and cheaper to build. MIT has invented a battery that can be charged in seconds, and Stanford made a battery from paper and ink and nano tubes, they are cheap, better performance and more durable then a lithium battery. There is no need to be sarcastic, if you google what I say you can see for yourself that many developments on this field are taking place at this very moment. Try to understand the concept, and combine it with new improved technology

  24. insAneTunA Says:

    @alonsodocYT

    It …
    @alonsodocYT

    It was said that this setup is an experiment to proof that the concept works. The first computers couldn’t do the things they do today, but there was a need for fast and improved computers because technology asked for it. For this solar hydrogen system there is a need as well, and the concept proves obviously that it is well worth to invest just as much in this technology as they did with the computer technology. Besides that, it is an older video, some technology has improved…

    @insAneTunA
    sucker, i was being ironic.
    You must answer the questions i did, cretin:
    * How much does it cost?
    * Can you take a “normal”/regular house and convert it or transform it reasonably into a solar hidrogen?
