What’s the best way to find homes for rescued kittens?

I have a littler of adorable kittens that I rescued and they’ll be ready to find new homes in a little while (mid-June). What is the best way of finding GOOD homes? Suggestions are appreciated.

Aww… I love cats. I have two, they are named Diana (named after the princess who died…RIP) & Neytiri. In answer to your question you could give the cats to a rspca or another rescue home. They are sure to find perfect homes for them. Good Luck. =]

The most common is craigslist but it is not the best way. the best way is to find a local no-kill rescue through petfinder.com. Make sure it is a good reputable rescue that makes sure all the kittens are spayed/neutered, tested and given shots before they are adopted out to someone that has been screened. Since it is "kitten season" rescues are over flowing with kittens so it may be hard to get one to accept your kittens.
If willing and able, try to find a local feral cat program in your area (I have two in mine, one is performed at the SPCA) where they trap neuter and release (if the cat is too old to be socialized). For a small fee you can get the kittens fixed and then adopt them out yourself and charge what you paid for to get them fixed (in my area it is $25-35) instead of adopting them out to people who may end up allowing them to reproduce and you end up having to rescue more kittens.

Socialize them and bring them to your local SPCA. They probably won’t take them until 8 weeks or so, so you might have to keep them in your house for a while.
