    @HenryChinaski405 …
    @HenryChinaski405 That is a very ignorant comment. With that being said, I do not like criminals either and wish the harshest punishment upon them…. BUT… lets say that you were accused of wrong-doing, lets say rape, and the victim identified you and they threw you in the slammer for 10 years and no ?’s asked-would this be fair? No, it would not be–it would be unconstitutional. We have our civil rights for a reason and all AMERICANS are entitled to them. God Bless

    I usually disagree with everything that the ACLU says but they are right to do this. Police try to “strong arm” people by using scare tactics.

    Glad to see the ACLU is standing up for the average citizens of the United States of America. Notice the smile of this neighborhood citizen…free to express his rights and empowered by the ACLU. In circumstances where the ACLU is not there…citizens will be threatened with a search warrant based on their refusal to allow a search though. It is a win/loose situation in many parts of America today.

    @HenryChinaski405; At first I wanted to flame at obvious ignorance about how works, but instead i read over some of your other posts and for the most part have a sane opinion on this matter. So all I’ll say is that I live in the real world where there cooked cops, they plant evidence and break the laws. Mostly to advance their careers or perhaps a racially motivated hate crime. So good luck man, you might find your self a criminal one day or rather a victim to police bullying

    @mch295: no 1 reason for revolting against the british were the ridiculously high taxes while doing nothing for the people in america except having demands.

    If they wouldn’t have exploited their situation, the dollarbill would be called Pound and have a “god save the queen” printed on it’s front….

    @Xakarath There is …
    @Xakarath There is what is “right”…and there is JUSTICE. You want whats “right”? Look at the “system”…it sucks and it doesnt work. Cops can go by the “letter” and “spirit” of the law..wich many times will get them NOWHERE with obvious criminals. Or they can get creative and ensure that those guilty are brought to justice.

  18. HenryChinaski405 Says:

    @Xakarath You can …
    @Xakarath You can play that bullshit tune as long as you want. But we have ARMIES of “uniformed” criminals that operate in our cities all over the countries. Many cities are afraid of upsetting “political correctness” to deal with the problem. If you are in a gang, you ARE a criminal. Im sorry but I dont give a about your civil rights. Your “job” is to victimize people.

    Are you are referring to the ’sneak and peek’ searches? They have been declared unconstitutional:
    “On September 26, 2007, judge Ann Aiken found the law was, in fact, unconstitutional…”

    Even before, I think the law only allowed feds to conduct ’sneak and peek’ searches, not local police.

    I know somebody who had police at door without a warrant. As soon as door opened a crack, police forced their way in and searched. The ONLY and BEST way to prevent a warrantless search is to NEVER EVER EVER OPEN THE DOOR TO THE POLICE!!! YouTube search: “Never get raided Barry Cooper” for much better advice!!!
