I am not talking about mobile homes or manufactured homes….

Check out my website for homes that I am talking about;

Hi,
Modular homes are designed in such a way that the furniture and other items are adjusted and does not take much space. In modular homes, there is place for every type of item that is to be used in house.

3 homeless peoples per 1 house ?

4 houses per homeless person ?

A lot of homeless have lost their homes and it is not economically feasible to let them move into an empty foreclosed home.

It is a grand gesture but someone else owns these homes and we need to be fair to all people.

How many "empty" apartments are there? Why not move homeless to apartment? Many more could be accommodated.

With the house come a host of other problems like utilities.
Who would pay for these?
What about transportation?
How would they get to the grocery store?
How would they find work?
At least apartments are usually on the bus line.
Apartments are easier to be all utilities included. Less of a strain on tax payers.

You need to take some classes on architecture and maybe some type of electrical classes and you need to learn how to do plumbing and roofing which can be taught to you by a person who already has the trade. I would say maybe you could contact some one already in the business and maybe think about helping them with a job first. Learn everything before you start. You should talk to your guidance counselor and see what college classes you need to take and what colleges you need to consider.

Me and my mother are considering a modular home and someone informed me how one of hiss sister owned one and that all they had was problems but after speaking to sells rep he assured me they are built just like stick houses. Same building codes, woods, structures, framing, etc.

So could someone with more knowledge weigh in? Thanks

All homes have issues. Depending on the manufacturer some modulars are built better than stick. Anyone that disagrees, I would challenge them to take a stick built home on a road trip. It’ll fall apart in the first mile. Modulars are built to withstand that punishment….other than that, a home is only as good as the quality of the materials used to finish it. Wood is a given, but the quality of the receptacles, plumbing fixtures , lighting fixtures, counter tops, and cabinets and flooring will all differ by manufacturer. So shop wisely and if you have the option to leave some things unfinished and hire someone to do it, by all means. If you can’t afford it then just do it later. That is the good thing about them. They are modular.

Why aren’t swimming pools common in England as well?

In England swimming pools ARE popular in the homes of the upper middle classes. But they are indoors so you can’t see them. Also why are you going around looking over the Walls of peoples gardens looking for swimming pools? Be careful, I don’t know what brazil is like but in England you will be arrested for such things.
