I am considering moving to CA from Texas
Does anyone know what the average cost per sq ft is to build a custom home in the south bay area is? California
I found land for sale that is south Los Gatos out hwy17. It was 5 acres and was in a mountain area with nice views roads to the property electricity and it was in a neighborhood type setting. Price was about 200k

Are you talking building yourself? As long as the land is not included in the costs you can expect to pay at least 300 a square foot, but closer to 500 if you want it nice.

If you are talking about one hat is already build costs vary by area. A decent, not wealthy, but not poor, area will run you about 200 a square foot. Of course you are buying the land too.

A builder of custom homes reduced the price of a model by 15%. If the new price is $425,000,?

A)what was it’s original price? B)How much can be saved by purchasing the model?

If a builder reduced the price by 15% that means you are paying 85% of original amount.

.85x=$425,000
x=$425,000/.85
x=$500,000

$500,000 – $425,000 = $75,000

What ism can we give liberals for their hatred of those who choose to live in modular homes?

The left obviously hate people that live in mobile homes, modular homes, etc. What ism name can we give this hatred to better identify them with?

Liberalism = hatred and intolerance for any opposing opinion.
